2006 count

2006 was the first year I became organized about documenting my knitting, thanks to a handy little Moleskine journal. (I record notes on my completed projects, works in progress, planned projects, and even my sweater yarn stash. It’s very handy for yarn or pattern shopping.) This means that I can easily tally up my projects for a year-end recap.

In 2006, I started and completed…
8 hats, 6 pairs of socks, 4 scarves, 4 pairs of wristwarmers, 2 sweaters, 2 miniature sweaters, 2 tanks (or maybe 1 if I decide to redo the straps on the second), 1 short-sleeved shirt, 1 lap blanket, 1 shawl, 1 baby sweater, 1 cat, 1 avocado, and 1 miniature sock.

In 2006, I started but haven’t yet completed…
3 pairs of socks, 2 scarves, 1 sweater, 1 lap blanket, 1 shawl, 1 hat, and a pair of felted clogs.

The hat, felted clogs, and one of the scarves are active projects that are likely to be finished in the next week or so. I’ll blog about them soon, along with trip recaps, some stash enhancement, and details about my last completed project of 2006. For now, I’ll leave you with a picture of my new Clapotis (finished just this morning)!

Impressive FO tally! I especially like the part that says: 1 cat, 1 avocado. Heh.
