Toe-Up Monkey
Thursday night at happy hour, I finished my first toe-up Monkey sock by candlelight with just a 3-inch tail left at the end. Whew! It’s a little snug pulling it on, but fits like a dream – my fit modifications worked out perfectly!
I’ve already started the second sock, which gets to come with me today to see the Yarn Harlot! So does the latest victory in my UFO attack, which managed to sneak a tiny appearance in the picture above.

Nice toe up monkey! Did you do the version of all knits and no purls? Wasn’t the harlot great today? Glad we got to see you and your crew!

You are seeing the Yarn Harlot this week too? I am going this week and a friend is driving 3.5 hours to come as well. I am terribly excited. I hope to hear from you about how it goes! How are you?
